Dear H_E_H,
The Subject of your post asks for an XML editor. The very best XML editor is - without doubt - XML SPY. The Body of your post asks for an XHTML editor. Any modern HTML editor will do. |

Hmm, what are you looking for? XML editor like in the subject or XHTML editor like at the end of your posting? There's many XML editors, some expensive, some free. I guess XMLSpy by Altova is the leading application. But I don't care ... I use XML Notepad by Microsoft. Since they released Infopath, they don't have it on their website anymore, but you can still find it: HERE

Well, I tend to stick to Notepad ++, even though I do have Dreamweaver.

you may have become familiar with HTML-Kit if you're used to designing in HTML ... however, if you are not, I strongly recommend it. it's great for HTML, Javascript, Java, simple text, CSS, XML, CGI, php,...just about anything. and best of all it's FREE!
