Okay site is up and running, figured out how to upload files, manage folders etc. So I tested it out and uploaded 3 songs and a few random files. One problem... Where can I get the URL? If I right click the file it give me the URL to edit it... where can I get the URL to the file itself? Thanks!

That should be fairly simple. Supposing I have a file called image1.jpg which has been placed in a folder called graphics under the public_html folder of my hosting account.
The direct URL to that file will be: www.mysite.com/graphics/image1.jpg or in case you have an astahost subdomain, mysubdomain.astahost.com/graphics/image1.jpg Likewise with all other files/folders.. just include the relative path to the file, assuming that public_html is your root and append that path to the main site URL. Hope this will make it a bit clear. Regards, m^e |

You are only getting the link for them in your account that way. Where did you put these files? If it's a file called sample.mp3, in the main root folder (public_html) and your account name is called AbyssalStalker, then you can access this file by going to http://AbyssalStalker.astahost.com/sample.mp3

This hasn't helped at all actually, I appreciate you trying but, everytime I link something I get a little red X. I tried all those combinations but to no success. My username for it is eric88, and my site is
http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com I've tried: <img src="http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/FILE"</img> <img src="http://abyssalstalker.astrahost.com/FILE"</img> <img src"http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/images/FILE"</img> <img src"http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/home/eric88/FILE"</img> And so on. I just don't get it? I know the files are good because i've linked them from photobucket. Please, help my poor soul |

it seems that you have no indesx.html on your site http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/
so we cannot see directly what happends. But obviously your syntax is false, try drag and drop a local image in your Microsoft Frontpage page, and you will see the syntax. |

Site Management Tools / Frontpage Extensions Attempting to install Frontpage extensions ...... /home/eric88/public_html does not exist or is not a directory! Frontpage extensions are currently: not installed What am I supposed to do? I'm trying hard guys, I just don't understand this crap. I appreciate all the help you're giving me. |

You sure you're site's address is:
http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/ Make sure you upload a index.html file like yordan said. For your images, you are not closing the html tags correctly. Do something like this instead: <img src="http://abyssalstalker.trap17.com/home/eric88/FILE"></img> Don't forget that equal sign after "img src". If you go directly to that link, your image should display on your browser regardless of whether you have a index.html page set up or not. |

No idea where to get the index file. I'm closing the Image thing correctly, because all my other files are showing up fine.
These are the sites I get. This is the account home: http://www.abyssalstalker.trap17.com:2082/frontend/rvblue/index.html And this is the file manager: http://www.abyssalstalker.trap17.com:2082/frontend/rvblue/files/index.html I don't know if that makes any difference when I link my files, but that's what I have. Thankz |

Ugh I don't know. Is there anyway I can refresh the account so it starts from the beginning? I deleted some stuff when I first logged in and I'm guessing they were important. If I can refresh the account maybe I'll have better luck. Lemme know, thanks.
