Encorporating many different languages seems to work the best. For instance, having flash banner and nav bar seems to be nice, then having the rest of the page in html, java, or php. These always turn out to be the nicest.

PHP, it's uhhh, how do I say this... Expendable and Flexible. Flash really is good for design but when it comes to coding, I don't know, moving images have code?!?!
 Yes, maybe, but that's really complicated. HTML is good too but the scope of coding is really limited.

euhm, even when you use php, you use html. even when you use flash, you use html. there is no way around html. you don't have much of a choice to use it...
for scripting, i like php, because it's fast and easy. for bigger companies, i'd go for jsp. |
