Clean proffesional, students having fun, laughter, and a lot of photos. Just make it look a happy and professional site that way people will like it.

I'd say, since you are putting job info up there as well, go for professional. Keep it simple and smooth. That way it looks professional AND nice for graduates. But then again, I always have advised people to keep the lay out simple

Just make sure the page is easy to navigate, and you should be good to go
And since you're making it for a professional use, don't clutter it up with graphics. Make it easy on the eyes, and easy for users to find their way around -ignition |

Keep it easy to navigate around and make it look professional. I like sites with naviagtion bars at the top of the page rather than the side.
If you plan on using pictures, always use photographs taken by an actaul camera. Don't use any drawn by hand or made on the computer unless they really add something to you site. Most of all, make it the way that you like it. If you see that it is not appealing to visitors, change it, but always make it the way it pleases you first. |

heres a good example.
I think simplity is the most important, not only does it make it easier to use, but it just looks better. For example: Good (nice looking, easy to use. I like the tabs, you just know were you are. The other thing is (and I know there are people here who won't agree with me) don't use flash! Flash has it's purposes, but I hate sites that use flash for navigation. It's just annoying. |
