I wan't to convert .DAT video files into .swf flash files.so is there any free video to flash convertor available on internet?

Helo there..

I really havent converted .dat to .swf, but i think FFmpeg will do the trick for you, its open source and it can convert even other formats than those listed if you have the codecs.

It supports a lot of formats incluiding vob, avi, asf & mpeg so chances are it will work.

Most programs need to descompress the file to transform it to another format and you can get errors on the encoding or a loss of quality, so it would be better to switch to avi first.

what sort of file is a DAT? isnt that a partially downloaded file on a p2p network?

(im probably totally wrong but oh well)
