The NY Daily News (via GigaOM) states that NYC's first Fios deployment will be in Bayside, Queens. In the article a Verizon spokesperson claims "We don't have the technology to deploy FiOS in multiple-dwelling homes yet," meaning much of New York City will be waiting a while for the high speed service.
