Adstogo lets you choose exactly which ads you would like to run, and you get a preview of the ads if you want.
However, their stats reports aren't that great (but good enough for me), and you don't really get a lot of ads shown... (But they even count impressions for their default ads!)
Basically, to get banner ads to show, you have to have somebody willing to advertise on your site. Otherwise you just get a couple of ads that would be willing to advertise on any site. You can choose the prices of ads, and how many impressions they would get.
They have a really low payout of $5.00 through paypal! (or $50 by check)
I get about 1 cent per 200 hits, a click on an ad would get me around 20 cents.
Text ads are shown over and over again though
If all my members clicked (which is only about 30, less than half are actually active), then I could reach payout within a week!
I'm sure you would do better
