I just install the new phpBB into my new forum, the thing is that there is a little phpBB logo at the top, i want to know how to get rid of that logo and instead but my own banner across the page. CAn some one help me with this problem. I want the top to have nothing but a banner, kind of like the top of astahost, but instead a little but taller and across the page, thanks or if it is not possible to insert a banner across, how do i replace the logo with my own logo? thanks

Look inside the admin panel in the PhpBB forum -> there should be an option for logo's.

Alternatively, you could browse the image files of the phpbb installation and replace the logo with your own picture.

The logo`s are situated here in this directory on your ftp site:

.../phpBB/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif
" " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " " logo_phpBB_med.gif

the logo_phpBB_med.gif is the one that appears in your
upper left corner on your admin index page
