An Australian was recently captured in Iraq by insurgents. I think this is the first capture of an Australian civilian in Iraq, and I wanted to ask what do you think the ramifications are there for the Australian Government? And do you think the Government is doing enough for him?

wow, thats so crazy, i'm glad i read this, i'll pray for this australian
does anyone know how many people have died in this war already?
The U.S has lost over 1,571 lives, 12,022 have been wounded (6,052 serious) or unknown non-combat injuries. The Iraqs losses are still being disputed, but it has been put from 21,000 people all the way to 100,000. 177 soldiers from other countries have been killed and from 229 to 355 cilivlians have been killed
