Hi!

I need some help to break a 4-digit code, that can contain the numbers from 0 to 9. This means that there is 10 000 possibilities. Therefore, I will need a program or script or something that will test out all the possibilities at the norwegian version of an internetsite called Pointshop.

Pointshop is a website where you can buy things for points that you earn. If you referer someone, you will get 5000 points. To prevent people from "referer them self", they have somehing called "Number-warranty". The one you referer have to send a SMS to a number, recieve a 4-digit-code, and then registrer it at Pointshop, before you get the points. My idea was to make a bunch of false accounts (registrer them with a proxy maybe, so they won't be suspicious), write in a random cellphone-number and then find the right "pin-code" with the help from a program, a script or something.

So, can you help me with this? Are there any program that I can use, or can you write or learn me to write a script for it? I know some basic HTML, but not more than that. Why don't help me, then you can use this method yourself too! :P

I’m taking a chance by posting in this thread because it has a high likelihood of being deleted but I will still give it a shot. Since this is your first post, please refer to the Astahost Terms of Service (ToS) to find out that “hacking” is not allowed here.

Now on to your question. It is likely that this website has a limit to how many times you can guess the code. 10,000 possibilities are really not that much when it comes to security unless you limit the number of tires. To prevent fraud of this nature, Pointshop should limit the number of guess to three. After three incorrect tries, the referrer is marked invalid. If Pointshop does not have this current policy, they will soon if they want to stay in business.

I agree with tansqrx, please read astahost TOS. As it's your first post here, you only get a warning.
Let's hope it's your last TOS violation.
