This is what I get at the top of Internet Explorer 7 when I start it. I can click the banner and set the settings to the default but it always show up again after a reboot. I have had this problem ever since I installed Internet Explorer 7.

Your current settings put your computer at risk. Click here to change your security settings…

I recently wiped my system clean and this time I never got the very annoying warning banner. Several days went by and I installed all of my programs except two. Because the install just takes so long, I waited until last to install Microsoft Visual Studio 2003, Visual Studio 2005. I installed one right after another and right after the reboot I started getting the warning banners again. This of course leads me to believe that something Visual Studio (2003 or 2005) installed is causing grief with Internet Explorer security. So far I have not found anything out on the web. I did find that Microsoft has intentionally made it so you can not turn this warning off. I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems and if you have found a solution.

Turn off Security Settings/Information BarIe Security Settings And Ie 7?

Please help! I can not get rid of the security information bar! I updated my IE from 7 to 8 thinking that might help, but it didn't.  It is preventing me from going on certain sites and I'm so frustrated. Please Please HELP!

Comment on this info barIe Security Settings And Ie 7?

This is a joke, another MicroCrash screwup deeming the browser worthless campus wide. I am debunking the IExplorer browser on all systems and installing Firefox. When will Microsoft learn, more and more everyday they are begging for Bankruptcy.

Which system do you currently in use ?
Windows XP, windows Vista or something others.

I have installed internet explorer and visual studio express but not full version on windows server 2003 R2 without the banner appear on top of window.
Can you try to access the settings dialog box and reset all security zone to default settings before
re-opening the browser window.
