On my webiste (once I get hosted), I'd like to give users capability to SMS me. But the problem is that, I don't know how to do it.
So what I'm looking for is some script to send SMS messages over the web. Any scripting language that astahost supports would do. Thanks in advance

meh a really easy way to do it would be do just set up phpbb2 onto your site that way ppl can just pm you plus you're giving them a nice good forum...kinda like you're killing to birds with one stone

I never used phpbb2. Does it support PMing to SMS?
If not, do you happen to know any other php forums which allows PM to SMS?

I don't know I'm sorry man I don't know much about smsing but I know phpbb2 is really good software and would prob be able to work with smsing...maybe not I don't know...Meh though IF not you can always just using pm's for ur service

well, you can't because the server is not an sms server. however, there are several sites offering a few sms messages if you login. so basicly, what you could do is write a script that logs in automaticly to such a site and sends messages form there.

but as you'll see, you need logins to those sms services and probably, they'll only allow you a few messages a day.
if you want unlimited messages, you could try to find a company that offers paid services for this.
phpbb2 is a messageboard. not an smsscript.

if you want something to do, try to get a webshell and the instal on it a sms server, after you can send SMS as you want....The only problems is the webshell, but if you have already one
