Hello folks,

Well as the title says i am in need of ideas. I tried all i had but i cant get the best of ideas out and i have a weeks time. Its like running to the finish line without strenght left to run. I would be glad if some of you guys gave me serious ideas on a poster for college.

Situation: College Week of Welcome
Time: 1 week
Theme: none

now i have a list of stuff happening like desert safari, bands, stage shows, djz, student flee market etc...

Thats all the info i have as of now, and i have to make a poster based on all this. I was thinking of something like my college campus cartoon map in the background with reduced opacity. and circles having different pictures like safari, djz, lunch etc. Oh and also could someone guide me to a site where i can get these pictures, i really dont need something too childish or too mature, something the " College Style "

Hope u guys can help me out. I could rate myself 7 / 10 in photoshop and i WILL be doing the poster in PS, so any ideas are welcome.

umm no m8 ..

what i needed was a real picture looking image or potrait .. and safari here as in a Desert safari .. i live in the emirates so its hard to find tigers, other than the zoo lol. thankx for the reply anything else u can think of ? i need to make a poster for college with diffrent activities to show, punk yet professional.

Personally, I would think that your best bet for finding photographs would be to try searching the same terms m8 suggested, but at http://creative.gettyimages.com. There's plenty of photos there, including a lot of royalty free ones, which is the kind you'd want to use in your poster.

I use Stock Exchange for all my stock photo needs. I've never looked for the images you asked for, but I'm always able to find something usable when I go there. It requires a registration, but it's worth it. And the images are much larger than the images you'll tend to find with internet search engines, like Google.

OK lets say i have the images i need, could anyone give me a written discription of an idea of an layout ? i know sounds tough, but please try i'll understand, right now i am all in for ideas. Just descripe the layout of the design what should be added how it would look, anything at all

I think your idea about the cartoonish drawing of your campus is great.. you should ask around to see if anyone could help you out by drawing it for you? That's just my opinion!
