Im currently a one man army at the moment and well my game is progressing very slow as its taking me for ever to create I've done alot of the site how ever but in comparison to how much is left its not.....

So was wondering if any one would like to help out...a team would be nice, slightly more enjoyable too in terms of creating a project right up to completion I was one working with a team and I much prefer that to doing it solo.

My game isn't built for profit making so i cannot pay you before you ask. I'm making this site as a hobby and a learning experience, so if you are looking for that and like to work in a team effort then this could be something you could help out on!

I am creating this site but at a loss of money.. it won't cost you anything obviously, so I wont be asking for money off any of you... my mate had a similar experience with people asking him for money, so i helped him out in the end which was fun which is why i kinda wish i got a team to build my site with me because it kinda stops you from going mental from reading code all the time hehe.

But if any one is interested ....im happy to give you my email via pm so we can talk about it ... and ask questions about the game in pm too if possible cos it might look a bit like im advertising in here otherwise.. which i don't want to do that encase thats against the rules also.

I would like to add you do need to know PHP, if you know other coding languages that is a plus. I'm not sure what else I can say I think I have sum'd it up as best as I could.

To be honest I was quite interested in the whole idea till I got to the PHP bit, which is when I realized it was just the idea that had me interested, and I had paid scant interest to the "whats-needed-to-actually-get-it-done" department.

I'm more of a Java enthusiast, but I'll get back to you in a few days. Here's wishing you luck with more volunteers.

Well, I can deal with the php but I don't know the benefits of the java side of things...which is why im currently php orientated... if i can understand why Java is wise to use with php then im happy to join forces with you but we'd need to talk about the project to see if you think it's needed... let me know anyway.

This site you are talking about, is it about the game, or is it the game (e.g. browser based MMORPG)?

Hey, this sounds quite interesting. Well, I know both php and java, so depending on what you need or want, I can always adapt. I'd like to know what this game is about though, just so I can get an idea of what you'll be working on. I don't really mind no pay...I guess currently I'm more interested in messing around and learning different ways to do things by working on projects and the like instead of earning money for what I do.

But I've got to say, this kind of stuff does take forever alone. I've done something similar before (not exactly a game, but a custom-built CMS), and it took forever. Staring at code all day basically killed my brain.

PHP is actually really really tedious...the last two PHP projects I've done practically fried my mind. My code's not a mess, but PHP projects are still mind-boggling tedious. I can't stand all the minor, repetitive details that are involved every time I have to code it. Maybe that's why I've found frameworks (like cakephp) to be really useful...
