Hi guys,
I just stumbled upon this cool tool called StumbleUpon - http://www.stumbleupon.com. You simply sign-up with them and download their toolbar. They got it for almost all the major browsers on Win/Lin/Mac platforms. This adds a new toolbar to your browser with a couple of icons like Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down, A page Review editor, Your own Reviews Bookmark, Chat etc...very small and compact download for Firefox - only 85K.

When you browse to any site, you just click on the thumbs up/down icons to give your rating to a site. If you happen to be the first person to add this site to their database, a small input-box will pop-up asking you to write a short review. It's fun to play around with, plus you can get to know a whole bunch of people with similar browsing habits as yours smile.gif

Here's a screenshot of how your browser looks after you install the toolbar:

Installation is very simple and as soon as you create an account at their site, the toolbar auto-detects the login/pass and you don't have top configure it in any way.

Give it a try..

Looks like an interesting tool. I might give it a try just to kill some time and boredom this evening. i'll post again once i decide whether i like it or not. I guess I'll have to find out what exactly it's about and go from there!

Yeah, so i decided I didn't really like it. The concept is cool, but i just didn't get hooked on the idea, so the toolbar became more of a burden than a cool idea. oh well. Maybe if they adjust a few things and all that i'll check it out again and give it another try.
