I would have moved this to the lobby since this is just a little fun "tip", but... perhaps I felt like being nice.-----szupie This post has been edited by szupie: Feb 2 2006, 11:14 PM |

...but then doing something like this would result in a very typical site name.
I've known of such websites that usually don't end up lasting for more than a year. But thanks anyway. I've seen similar "site namer"s posted on pixel doll websites back a few years ago. |

I saw that same "site namers" but i also agree with agentix they do not last long and i know someone who made AJTechnology based off of a operating system and he went bankrupt with in the first year of a half and i honestly knew that it would happen because he used hes initials Alex Johnson so basically may i suggest thinking of an orignal name your self expressing what ever it is u do say its hosting say "Shout-Hosting" "Radio-FM" "Random-Radio" these will get more traffic to your site.

Heh, well, even if it doesn't end up to be a permanent site, it certainly might make the person using the site namer chuckle (I know I did!). (ExtremeCandy? Hmm. I wonder what I could make of that.) However, sometimes, it's the random names that end up as the official, famous names of sites, groups, bands, etc. For example, a dance group called Eiffel 65 actually got the "Eiffel" part of the name from a name generator. Then the "65" was a typo; someone thought the "65" (which was part of a phone number) was part of the group's name, so it was included. XD They've probably disbanded by now (started in 1998?), but still. They were famous. So maybe name generators do work sometimes. (*cough* Rarely.)

Haha! This generated a very interesting site name for me!
I'm considering it! Heheheheh. But yeah, Name Generators just give you TYPICAL site names that aren't at all exciting. They rhyme...that's it. Ha! |
