The map is about a popular movie called Inuyasha by Takahashi Rumiko. The hero in this map is not the common ones in Warcraft but some role in the Inuyasha. The screen of the map is perfect. And the task is also wonderful. However, the map is only 4mb-size. There's some image of the map.
The map is made by a Korean Warcraft Group, and it's translated into Chinese. But there's no English version yet. What a pity!

hi all,

I just played Warcraft on my PC and thought why not have a word with you guys about it.
I have been playing warcraft since a long time. I play warcraft-3.

I have also downloaded some new maps for the game which help me in trying new challenges in the game.
For all those who haven't ried Warcraft and like strategy games, warcraft is a nice try out. You will love this game. The best thing that attracts me towards this game is the graphics.
The new version "Frozen Throne" is also out but i haven't tried it.

The official website of Warcraft is:

Do leave your comments.

StarCraft hands down wins this one for me. I loved the RTS aspect of it and found that each of the three races were balanced quite well but had enough of a difference to be unique. Reguler ladder games were fun over Battle.net and if you didn't have the time, you could just jump on a UMS map and play.

Who has The Frozen Throne? And what are all your B-Net Accounts? I think its a great game but lately I haven't played it much, I was introduced to the game by The 2002 World Champion. He is an amazing play, I beat him at all the custom maps though.

Supporting Alegis's statement, as Blizzard still does updates the game which is about half a decade old.

Even though as Warcraft 3's population as waned and World of Warcraft's population is still enormous, you can bet that much of World of Warcraft's success is based on Warcraft 3's.

And the custom maps of Warcraft 3 is still very much alive, mainly on the most popular one, Defense of the Ancients. Till now its still the most hosted map in Battle.Net. Hey, I'm still playing it now.

So, I believe that Warcraft 3 is still very much alive and supported by Blizzard still, as for tournaments, I periodically saw some being shown on the Battle.Net news page,

Hey talking about Warcraft 3 has anyone thought of the fact that you can create banshees and make them possess the "workers" of each race. Once you possess the workers, you can use them to build and train the other race's stuff. MY brother tried that once and managed to get the 3 other races altogether and formed a very formidable force. The undead may be vulnerable to light attacks by humans but they sure are very "afflictive".

That reminds me. Which race do you all like the most? I personally like the night elves - well, because of their ability to see at night. I love that skill and i can stalk the whole map enemy free (they're all sleeping). In Frozen throne there is also the Warden (hero) and she is able to teleport anywhere. Trust me, the first few skill points will have to go to the teleport skill. Nothing beats that.

The humans have got lots of weapons and defence at their arsenal but as for their spells... i can't say their good or bad I'm just saying humans have very weird spells that i ALWAYS forget to use during battle. Especially the sorceress's sheep changing spell! Arrgh I always forget to use that one during battle. You cannot set it to auto-cast so it's horrifyingly difficult to find a single sorceress and cast it.

I highly doubt they'll release Starcraft II by the end of this year. They'll probably be releasing all three games by the end of next year.

And starcraft2.com doesn't contain some information you might want to know, such as the fact that Blizzard is not releasing Starcraft II as one game, but as three seperate games (one core game and two expansion packs) named Terran: Wings of Liberty, Zerg: Heart of the Swarm, Protoss: Legacy of the Voice.

I agree with khalilov. I think turning the game 3D and changing so many things from the original will severely unbalance the game, but we shall see. After all, it's Blizzard.

I am also very very interested in this new Map Editors of theirs. It'll be more powerful than the ones used in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne (which was already damn powerful) so I think I'll enjoy twiddling with some functions =]. Hopefully they'll keep the mission briefing types of loading from the original Starcraft games.

Is it just me or is starcraft the greatest game ever devided, i am simply in love with that game. When i first started playing i hated it, because i didnt know how to do anything, so i used cheats alot when i was playing single player, but as i progressed i used less and less cheats. Eventually i wasnt using any cheats and i thought i was so good and bad a$$, until i played battle.net and couldnt beat anyone at all no matter the rules lol. I truly love this game, one of the reasons for this is that theres always something new, a new Use map settings map, new people, new strategies to learn.

I'm just dissapointed that after 6 or 7 years there is still no sequel to this awesome game. There have been many rumors of starcraft 2, but it's taking an awfully long time. I think one of the reasons for this is because blizzard fired the original team that created starcraft, because they were demanding too much.

Blizzard is working on a whole bunch of diffrent projects, some of which i dont think should be released at all. Like Starcraft Ghost.

I saw a preview of it and it looks absolutely atrocious, its just horrible. It looks like a throwback game, that they buried up from the early 1990's. It's like doom 1 in 3rd person, and the concept pictures they made are extreamly deceiving. if you go to their website you'll see why.

Blizzard is one of my favorite gaming companies, but recently they've been going down hill lately. I think they need to rethink their marketing strategy

any thoughts on the topic?

I want to see what peoples views are on how Blizzard creates and advertises their games.

I personally own almost every blizzard game made so far. Every one of them is a great game for the time it came out and a couple of them are still just as good 5-6 years later. Im talking about Starcraft and Diablo 2. Sure there are better games but the implementation of map creating abilities is what makes or breaks some of the new Strategy games, like starcraft. It's user friendly map creating database lets people create their own unique maps and than go online and play it with users around the world. This is what draws me to starcraft adding some 'spunk' to the game. Diablo 2 is a great interacting game and they have a very well made way of seperating cheaters from true blue gamers. It's open and closed servers help to seperate and also while playing Diablo online it allows you to distinguish who cheat and who dont.

Now the downside of Blizzard Developement. Three years ago (correct me if i am wrong), a game was being advertised to come out later that year. What was that game? WoW, which came out 1 year ago. Also there have been advertisements for Starcraft Ghost, a first person shooter game for ps2. Starcraft Ghost has yet to be released because it hasnt met Blizzard Standards yet. Now im not saying blizzard is totally bad because they are right to delay the release..Blizzard has yet to make a bad game and I dont want to see that..I just want them to stop getting ones hopes up.

I'd say SMB3. I love that game, and my SNES. I play it everyday. The variety of levels, the racoon suit, the maps, the dancing cactus, and the Mario makes the game really worthwhile. Oh and it has great music too, especially that desert level selection screens. Yep, I think it was the best game ever. The most important, I think is Tetris.

As for me I think the best strategy game is Heroes of Might and Magic(HOMAM) starting from HOMAM III.
If you like turn-based strategy games than its for you. I prefer III version, maybe because it was my first strategy game ;) but...but if you want to see good video graphic better try Heroes of Might and Magic V.
Gameplay - heroes are player characters who can recruit armies, move around the map, capture resources, and engage in combat. Also, heroes gain experience levels from battle, such that veteran heroes are significantly more powerful than inexperienced ones. Experienced heroes may persist through a campaign, but do not carry over between single scenarios.
If you like it you can find all versions in one DVD I think almost all game stores have this DVD!

One more game - Cossacks and Cossacks II.

Cossacks including 3 parts - European Wars, Back to War and The Art of War
Cossacks: European Wars is a game about epic battles in one of the most turbulent eras in European history. Mighty nation-states were forged in the fires of the battlefield, and massive fleets set sail with dreams of conquest. It was a time of war after bloody war, wars lasting decades, wars involving nearly every European nation. These dramatic events of the 16th through 18th centuries in Europe have provided Ukrainian developer GSC Game World with ample material for a fairly ambitious, if flawed, real-time strategy game.

Cossacks II including 2 parts, exactly Cossacks II: Battle EU and Cossacks II: Napoleonic Wars
All review you can find here ;)
