Hello, I have a MySpace Gold Script but do not know how to use it. Can someone help!?
I have a MySpace gold script, this will let me build my own social networking site. I dont know much about MySQL or Myphpadmin. This is my installation instructions


To start with open the mainfile.php and edit the settings to reflect your own. You will need to know your mysql database settings. If you do not know what these are please ask you webhost and they will provide them to you. After this file has been edited to your server settings, make sure that it is chmod to 444 (read only) on unix based systems.

Use the included mysql tables to import them into your database using phpmyadmin. If you do not know how to do this ask your web host and they will do this for you.

Ok, I just had to do it. My (quick) review on MySpace.

From a technical standpoint:
I have never seen a network that is so poorly designed that the "load balancing" doesn't even work. I can't tell you countless number of times where I've been directed to down servers or VERY overloaded servers. Sometimes, I'll get stuck in a loop of overloaded server or down servers. I thought load balancing was supposed to AVOID this? It's also poorly coded. Have you ever watched your system use more CPU power to load a really overloaded profile?? Next is the errors. I don't know the cause for the errors, but it is far fetched.

From end user standpoint:
The interface is.... not usable. Ever try to log off and notice there is no logout link or the link has moved for the 5th time in that DAY?

From a stalker standpoint:
Best website ever! I think even PRIVATE profiles can be viewed via Google's Cache. Nice going, Tom... treat a search bot as a "friend".

Personally, News Corp. only cares about $$$$ from MySpace... Customer Service doesn't even take notice to anything bad or offensive on public areas. They simply could care less.

Myspace.....a place for friends....many many friends. A entity in itself, Myspace. Myspace has millions of members spanning the entire planet. And the information collected from each person is a detailed explanation of, well their entire lives. That is, if you give it that info. In which many of its users do. I don't know about you, but the idea of something having that much knowledge is kinda scary. What do you think. Is Myspace evil? I think it is. It is like a drug. I know many of my friends that are "addicted" to Myspace. They sit each day "feeding" its data banks with input. From surveys to comments to their friends, 3 hrs of their day given to Myspace. Any Myspace "addicts" out there??

Hey guys, I feel silly asking this question since you all seem to be so much more advanced than I am, but a friend of mine wants me to change his Myspace code. He told me about a profile he saw where everything was changed. Even the text in the menu links. How do you get into this part of the code? and then, when you do finally find it, where do you post it so that it works on the profile? I have a general knowledge of code and such, do I have to be more advanced to be able to do this?

Ok, I made this background for myspace, but it wants to tile itself and all that jazz.. the image is 800x600 cuz i know most users have that setting. anyhoo im sure there is a html tag out there somewhere to keep an image fixed and resized depending on resolution.. but then again i could be wrong haha.. come to think of it i probably am wrong but i thought i would ask you all if you knew of a code that would do that...
