Author: wutske Total-Replies: 84 QUOTE (cyborgxxi)I completely agree. I am pretty addicted too and I really should give it a rest. I tend to get on to "just check my email" and then spend an hour and a half chatting. This would be ok except that I am also on when there is no one to chat with and all I do is look at the same things over and over again, forum, email, chat list, forum, email, chat list etc. I am too addicted to actually give it up. I spend about three hours after school each day and maybe 5 on weekends and though that includes work I don't do too much work online. Maybe you should just try getting out more...read a book, play some sports, run around, do something. I certainly need to try it. It will be interesting to see how long student spend in front of the computer screen in the future. Link: view Post: 81108 Sounds very familiar. Every morning I go only to check my e-mail (I the f*ck even have to do this because people start to rely on it Anyway, an hours ago or something I was about to clean my room (yeah, exams are over so it's a real dump in here), an hour after I'm still online

Author: Dmaster14 Total-Replies: 75 To tell you the truth, I hate Runescape. The game is boring itself and it lags a lot. Also, most of the time, you'll click on something, but it'll go the other way. Once time even, I was fighting and got so bored that I did not pay attention to my life, and I died. If you die, you lost most of your stuff so that is another reason why I don't like it. I agree with what SoldatRevolution said; Diablo II is a lot better then Runescape in just about every way. It also has more people on it.

Author: RsHeaven Owner Total-Replies: 67 I like runescape and all but they have terrible graphics , customer support , lag , and moderation. I did a little test i said 3 swear words and i was banned. I advertised a scam site for 2 and a half hours and did not get banned, bad moderation huh? yes its terrible. Why don't they upgrade there server or like make some new worlds i mean like 2000 people in one world is insane lower it to 1000 jagex (very lazy). There is so much lag on runescape it is not even funny. I don't think runescape is the best game on the net there are hundreds of way better games. I tried to recover my runescape account and i entered all the recovery details correct and then i did not get my account back god why don't they just trace the i.p it is most active on and if it matches your query give it to them but oh know they got to go all hightech on us. I rate Runescape a 2 out of 5!

Author: Divest Total-Replies: 149 I chose FFXI, but I haven't really been able to play other MMO's due to the fees. I have a major problem with most MMO's, is that almost none of them support Gamepads. I can't imaginge playing a non-FPS with either mouse or keyboard. FFXI has gamepad support, and it's easy to navigate and use menus. Of course, my experience with FFXI is not perfect. I have a serious problem with the fact that you can't get anywhere without relying on other people. I realize that this is a MMO and we're supposed to work together, but there are some crucial flaws in not allowing players to "Solo" once in a while. A lot of my FFXI time was spent doing nothing but Looking for a Party. It's extremely frustrating when you log in to try to get XP, only to spend the entire night unable to organize a competent party, or not even get an invite. I spent countless nights doing NOTHING productive because I have to WAIT for 5 other people my level and with different jobs who are also looking for a party to log in. Also, it takes hours just to organize missions and quests. You need to be able to devote a lot of time to this game, which is a major problem for me now that I work a lot and do other things. Regardless, I've made it pretty far.. I'm a level 64 WAR with lots of friends and stuff to do. But this is the main reason I cannot suggest this game to anyone new to MMOs. I want to try WoW, Guild Wars, and EQII but the prospect of having to play a game with mouse/keyboard combo doesn't appeal to me. I've never been any good at controlling with a keyboard (in fact, in PC FPS, I use half joypad, half mouse, aka my left hand controls movement by holding a PS2 controller with one hand, while the right hand aims with the mouse). WoW looks promising because I've read that I don't need to spend hours to do anything worthwhile.
