Author: tgp1994 Total-Replies: 16 Hi everyone. I run a game server from time to time, generally hosting Garry's mod (although this will apply to any source engine game; Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike Source, Day of Defeat Source, etc.) Anyhow, the server software, SRCDS, generally has an issue behind LANs, where it will not properly broadcast the server's address. Generally, it will take the inside IP address, instead of the outside one. There's a currently working fix, where if one opens their network connections panel, goes to the properties of their main connection, clicks properties of TCP/IP, clicks advanced, then adds their outside IP to the IP Address list, it will show correctly. The fix works for me, although since then, the connection will sit there saying "Acquiring network address". If I click repair, it goes through it fine and says it didn't encounter any problems. I can still access the internet just fine. Does anyone know why it's doing this?

Author: OpaQue Total-Replies: 132 CREDIT SYSTEM v3.0 ONLINE Dear Members, Thank you for supporting Astahost for all these years and as promised, I am proud to announce the launch of Credit System v3.0. Credit System 3.0 offers complete accounting of user posts which also counts features like views, popularity and reputation to help better distribution of cents. Unlike Credits, which used to represent 1 day of hosting, we now have a new point system called "cent". And yes, each cent represents 1 American "cent". The goal is to make good posts and gather 100 cents. Every time you cross 100, your cents will be converted to US Dollar and deposited into XistoSupport.com Billing/Shopping area. Ooooo... so where is this Billing/Shopping area? http://www.xistosupport.com/billing/ - This is our official Billing & Support area where we have been servicing ComputingHost and Xisto clients. From today, even Trap17 members are included So where is my $? To claim your earnings, simply register above with the same EMAIL which you are maintaining in our records at Trap17.com. suppose, at Trap17, your email address is ABC@ABC.COM, then the email used to register at XistoSupport.com should also be ABC@ABC.COM. Once linked, an account cannot unlink unless you want to freeze the forum account. Your account will get linked automatically within 4-5 hours. Login to your account and you should be able to see "Account Credit Balance: $X.xx". Your member information beside your post will carry myCENT field where you can check your CENT earning value. Once you earn more than 100 cents, it will be deposited automatically into XistoSupport.com Billing area. If you want to change your e-mail address at forums, before sign-ing up at xistosupport, please follow this link. http://www.astahost.com/change-email-address.html SO WHATS NEW??

Author: Opethian Total-Replies: 211 I was going to say that after using a desktop for 10 years, moving to a laptop is now a more feasible solution for me, just because I don't have a permanent address, and would like to create stuff on the go. Although I will have to agree with Mafamba Team's comment. Having both is the ideal setup, since a laptop is very expensive, and a cutting edge PC will always be cheaper.
