I recently purchased a copy of rapid weaver and I think that it is great starting point for simple websites. I think that it blows away iweb and sandvox but it is limited. I am thinking of doing a store front and there is not a shopping cart. Any other apps that would be useful? I have some exp. with oscommerce, can this be used with a program like rapid weaver?

I use Adobe Go-live, mainly because it comes with the Photoshop/Indesign suite and the fact that I have never liked Dreamweaver, but with Adobe's purchase of Macromedia, I'm not sure what Go-live's fate is going to be. (it may have been decided already...don't know)
Also there is NVU, it's a good free editor for Windows/Mac/Linux. It is the old Netscape Composer with some major upgrades. Easy to use and lots of features. http://www.nvu.com/ |
