Hi, I don't know how to create a group officially so I posted this topic....
I'm interested in forming a programmers group. We will exchange information on different programming languages and the person who is the most knowledgeable and contributes the most will be our group leader. I don't have a site on programming yet, but it seems like an interesting concept to me...If anyone else is interested then please post here...otherwise please don't spam it with stupid comments....and don't trying to act "elite".... Programming languages I know: C++ Visual Basic(Don't know about other BASICs) PHP Perl Python HTML(lol) ASP ASP.NET Programming languages I am learning or want to learn: JSP Delphi.NET C# Java Assembler(I'm learning it...) Please post your programming skills....even beginners allowed... |

I know the following programming languages, I can just be a part of the group when it would come for sharing of knowlegde and information...
ASP PHP Perl Javascipt VBsciript C C++ I got an intro to Java and familier with it Coldfusion As far as Databases are concerned, I go with MySQL and it is the best Database system (according to me). I know SQL. Currently learning, C (the things apart from conventional programming, more related to machine level eg. stacks, lists etc which are far more deeper things when compared to Arrays etc. and I am planning to master C) But I have a nice base with PHP and PERL. And now I am shifting more towards PHP as being a single person programming all alone, I thought it can be the best tool to deploy programs quickly avoiding the complexity of Perl. I am not so familier with UNIX and LINUX. I have used them, but I don't know the core aspects of these languages. I am planning to learn it soon, its just that I am too busy with my Computer Engg. Studies and my Websites. ( Especially when you have two hosting companies to manage ) |

Languages I know
Linux x86 Assembly C/C++ Python Perl/CGI PHP HTML/XML/XHTML JavaScript There were other languages that I learnt but I never kept interest with them, some that I can recall (there might be more) Turbo Pascal, Visual Basic, BASIC, JAVA, Pascal, Win32 x86 ASM, ASP. I don't mind sharing information and helping others. I don't mind joining a group, if it's going to help us learn and it may drive us to create projects, who knows what will happen but whatever the outcome I'm keen, as long as being leader is not me. Cheers, MC |

Linux and UNIX are not languages, they're operating systems...I'm sure you refer to the command/shell scripts of linux and unix of which there are many variations...well bashscript is one of the most common ones, so I think you mean bashscript.... |

Dearest Eric, Linux x86 Assembly is not an operating system Nor is it a shell scripting language. It's assembler langage for the Linux Operating System, and for the x86 Architecture. One of the most lowlevel languages that exist. Looks kind of like this: CODE MOV 5, EAX MOV 7, EBX ADD EAX, EBX MOV EAX, &ECX blahblah I think you may find MC one of your most profound members. |
