I remember that you can do this manually on Windows 95, 98, 2000, and ME by going to the System / System32 / Windows folder and changing a boot file. That is, you change it to a .bmp extension and opening up with paint - or you can change the bootscreen to another image by changing the name with the correct extension. I don't know what it is but I think it's something like .sys
