Sorry, qwijibow, but Apple is working like a charm, they're not falling apart. As for software patent, screw that, I'm against the EU with software patent as well. Back then, people relied on each other to solve complicated task because the information is free. (free as in freedom and not free beer.) Nowadays, these companies hogs them like if its their intellectual property and starts patent it. Most of Microsoft Windows' technology and abilities were stolen off others and even people at my school says that Bill Gates was the genius behind making the desktop, which in fact was XEROX and Apple who were the people behind it. Longhorn will copy the Linux multi-desktop system. Plus, Bill Gates even run Linux on his servers over their Windows Server System for Hotmail and for HALO2's development (thank you for confessing Bungie). Windows is also based on UNIX and it's been the most twisted and worst UNIX flavour I've ever seen.
Also, how the hell can you patent parts of a programming language? "oooh, I'm Bill Gates and I'm gonna patent AND, IF, ISNOT, I'll patent everything" That is plain stupidity. xboxrulz |
