Okay, I have a question... Is it possible to *only* erase a specific color? Or set of colors?

why not pour those colors out as a separate layer so you could easily turn that color off? You could also use channels and masking options. rolleyes.gif

i see...ok heres a simpliest way to safely erasing or turning off your colors (by using different layers...we will start with this image..

user posted image

refer to image below: on your layer pallete press 1 to add a new transparent layer

user posted image

make sure that the current editable layer is your new layer. (just click on it) now use the brush tool to add color on certain areas you want. lets say you will use red color..

same procedure to rest areas you want to color (new layer>color)

if you want to turn a color off just press 2 (refer to image #2)..if you want to change it..simply delete it and create another transparent layer then color.

much easier way to select group/single colors

: open an image
: then, select "SELECT" -> "Color Range..."

a color range dialog appears
: use a the "eye dropper tool" (lower right) to select colors
-> just select and click the eye dropper tool to the canvas to select color.

: to add colors use "eye dropper tool w/ +"
-> then select and click( you will notice the change in the preview pane)

then hit ok all the colors you select is now selected smile.gif

hi There-

Can u upload photoShop Brushes into Paint Shop Pro8?
This i would find really convieniant since there seem to be more brush sets for PhotoShop than for Paint Shop Pro. I've never gotten it to wrk before, & ii'd really luv to use em.

You can always find a pixel font, they are really tiny and easy to read. What size do you consider small? 8-12 point fonts are easy to find these days and they are really simple to read without any blur...

probably not smaller than 12pt...it just seems like all my fonts don't like being small in Photoshop CS, they seem to work fine in illustrator...I was thinking maybe it was a setting or something I needed to play with. it's alright though, I'm just being lazy, it's not that hard to do it in illustrator and bring it into photoshop.

I have another question though...

anyone know where to get some good ps brushes that are cigarette/smoking related? I'm having a rough time finding any...

Well, mainly what I've had work for me is Silkscreen pixel font in about 6 or 7 pt type sharp.
