I think you should use grey and marine blue. It's easy to write on it.

thanks, sounds good, though I like the white and dark red of the forum, I might try and incorporate that into the rest of the site, not sure though.

I would suggest grey, red and black combination with some tattoo images as graphics to enhance the overall feel of your design.

Id say to use black with a neat, abstract, thin design. Just use basic html that's REALLY enhanced with pictures made in gimp for a neat look. If your pictures are great, you can create a great website with just come simple html, and maybe some css, too. For a bit of enhancing, use javascript.

it's a tatoo website! use a rich red. a faded black. an off white (slighty grey) and a bit of aquamarine green.

Well I know some odd colour combinations can look pretty nice if used correctly, but I personally prefer to stick to base colour schemes.

Basically using the same colour but shaded differently across the site (like much darker for borders of tabular data, lighter for backgrounds and things like that).

Well, right now, your site is not accessible, but I think black and red would be a nice scheme, if designed nicely. Black and orange really is too reminiscent of Halloween, and do not use hot pink. Please. I like pink, but I know plenty of people who don't, so if you don't want to lose visitors that despise pink, just don't use it.

For a forum, you should know (X)HTML, CSS, and some PHP/MySQL. The easiest way to start a forum would be to use a program like Simple Machines Forum (SMF). It's free, and I think it comes with cPanel. Even if it's not, cPanel does offer several options for creating a forum.

Good luck, and have fun!
