Theme Hospital Cheats Don\'t Work

Hi every one,

I have a question, not an answer:

My Theme hospital can't save. Every once in a while a message appears in the bottom right screen saying "Error saving game". Is also refuses to save it if I manually tries to.

I must note that my PC does not allow me to install it, so I run it directly from the "HOSP" folder on the CD.

Any advice would be appreciated, my public email address is axlmorne@yahoo.Com.
