See now I wonder if it was an automatic change? I don't really notice what I did at this moment from any other time... Maybe lately I have been wondering with the Loading font looked different, but I didn't think anything of it. I just know that every service on the net will at some point evolve or upgrade in some way. I just don't see the day to day changes with Gmail anymore is all. So yeah, it is nice with the additions, but I may be just prudish and just take Gmail for granted! But I am glad that it is upgrading nicely... because it seems like it is to me.

And even if it is not automatic, well I am seeing some of the changes that each of you brings... well, at least the positive ones!

It more or less works as it's supposed to...it's just slower about it. The whole interface feels less zippy, and I am noticing the speed difference.

It's all the code changes that they have made, we don't see anything different, but the entire site is running differently in the background!

I can't make up my mind about it. Some parts are better, some are worse. I like the new look popups and stuff, but some parts are a bit slower (and some faster).

Though it really doesn't matter that much to me. I've started using Thunderbird instead of webmail. they should make Gmail skins. I reckon it'd be an improvement!

I'm pretty sure it's still in beta since you can still revert to the older version.

However, there's not much changed so I doubt it's the final version.

Well gmail itself is still in beta, so nothing is really completed....

I find it somewhat strange as to how long this has been in beta...i mean honestly....can't they just rename it to be out of beta, and then keep making changes like other companies, such as yahoo, and aol do?

Anyway, I love the new chat features that they provide...With emoticons and group chats...those are some great improvements in my opinion!
