most definately needs a longer hood, look at all the midwieght sportlux cars of today, with exception to the lotus elise, thier hoods are stretched out, one is for aerodynamics, and two is because it complements softer curves on the car, so unless you go really edgy id stretch it out.... might i reccomend a dual reversed scoop, if u stretched ur hood out a bit and whipped that on it would be cool, also make your brake calipers red or orange for that would complment the car best .. In the front, keep the grille, its the only thing that makes how tall the front end is not look absolutely ridiculous. Back to the hood, something like this possibly IPB Image

yep im critical but critisizm only can help if you take it right smile.gif

looking good wink.gif
from the look of the shape it remindes me of this car:
http://www.wallpaper.net.au/wallpaper/auto...-%20800x600.jpg
What I don't really like are the headlights, they remind me of cars (the movie tongue.gif ) :/
They look to friendly.
The need to look more agressive like the front bumper
The rims look too thin, they could break any momemt at 200mph
But that's just my opinion wink.gif
I would also add some details to the tires
Overall it's a nice design so far wink.gif
keep it coming

Really good work indeed, they are all quite nice. I, however, agree with your friends that I prefer the ealrier ones to the latter. Probably that is soelly due to the fact that I'm not a huge fan of the futuristic look for cars so when they are TOO sleek looking I lose a bit of liking for them. Regardless they all are very well done so keep us up to date, whatever you choose as a final version for them will be awesome I'm sure.

I see you are making great progress with the design. The original one is reminiscent of the latest Mustang, which already biases me toward a certain design expectation. The second one looks more original and more polished as a product. Version 3 looks good as well. I am eager to see how the future versions turn out.

That's really cool looking car. Good work there. I agree with Mirdux that a slightly longer hood would look better. Anyways really well done.

that is some amazing work. my honest opinion is that the front end of the second one is awesome. however it is hard to tell with the other one due to the angle of the image. If you could show both in the same angle then it would be easier.
Like I said though both of them are wikid. Nice job. I would love to do work like this but never knew where to begin. I want to make 3d models like these:
