Just play a video game and don't look at the time. Time goes slow that way. You should drink pop, and lots of it. And, don't lay down; you may say that you're "resting your eyes", but you'll fall asleep.
When I level up in Final Fantasy VII, I lay down and close my eyes. (I know how to battle according to the sounds) I fell asleep 3 different times and woke up dead.... Sorry, had to bring that up. |

Well, depending on whether you're staying up late to finish a term paper with a deadline of 9 am the next morning, then yeah, some Red Bulls or 180s will help tide you over...But what people have said about adrenaline (or something close to it) does help too. I have found myself on a roll with website layouts and glanced at the clock only to realize that it's 3 in the morning, and I have to get to work in 7 hours! I also think the ratio of enjoyment to necessity also plays a factor in how easily or hard we tend to get tired. I mean, if I'm in the middle of playing around with Photoshop and having a grand ol' time at it, I'm less likely to notice the time then if it's the 11th hour, and I HAVE to get this project done TONIGHT. But, if you know you're in for a long night, make sure to stock up on lots of protein, such as nuts, meats, and cheeses, since these will have long extending energy reserves, which means you're not going to have to rely so much on hyping your system up on caffiene.

bodybuilding.com has some safe amazing things to keep you awake, And things to avoid would be chicken or milk, as they make you sleepy, And as for staying awake with no help from anything but the computer, I like to chat to some friends while getting work done on Myspace msn yahoo or aim, keeps me awake

coffee will make you stay awake!! coffee has caffeine that increases your body activity and hence prevents you from falling asleep!
another thing i've heard of, i wouldnt recommend it though, is that you cut a little bit of your finger, or anywhere, just a little to make a few blood ooze, and you pour a few drops of lemon on it.. and im dead sure you not falling asleep for the night! anybody would like to try it? lol.. but thats for serious! |

If you often stay awake and won't be getting good night sleep, you will have serious problems with your memory after some time.. besides energy drinks help, but when you walk having slept only 3 hours, you usually are not so hard working.. and you will feel the results of that when you'll get older.

First of all, I will tell you guyz why I dont sleep in night! (Not everynight...& you stop thinking bad
Secondly, I normally use coffee to keep myself awake and when it becomes very difficult for me..I plugin my headsets and then I listen to enigma! And, even after that if my head refuses to cooporate with me..then I start roaming all over in the house...you know a small walk! |
