How Can I Delete Old Files In Windows Xp ? Install cygwin. Use chown command to change the owner of the file to your new username. Then you can delete it afterwards. -Jason |

Hi, I downloaded following from this website: http://ccollomb.Free.Fr/unlocker/ Right click and choose delete file then reboot - problem solved. I tried all the clever solutions and none worked except for this. Regards Razor -reply by Razor |

Http://www.Microsoft.Com/windowsxp/using/security/learnmore/accesscontrol.Mspx#securityTab You can access the security tab by changing the "folder options" in windows explorer. Click the link above to learn how. Then you can do what the other guys were saying. Take ownership, then delete the folder. |
