The downtime that you have experienced was due to the unexpected heavy signups that we recieved. Everything is fine. Also, there were some upgrading issue that had to be solved. The kernal version was bugging too. We regret for the inconvinience.

Honestly have I search for an host like this for years. And then finaly did I find it..

My first hosted site was as I might had mentioned by another post at Geocities, at the old days b4 yahoo destroyed it. Then had I tried to host at tripod a couple of times, by they keep delete it cause leak of traffic...???? And then also these borring hosts you're getting together with your IP access, where you can't do anything else than upload a site without cgi, php or any other funny stuffs.

I really like to recommand this to everyone that I know who is working with homesites.

Astahost is great, Unlimited MySQL is the greatest ever, you just cant beat it, although bandwidth is small compared to the likes of shyper and netrulon who offer 10GB, this host actually works, 50 posts can be annoying ot begin with but after a week the posts will start to reach there hundreds, astahost is a real nice place and got a real nice adin Opaque I will say there is a mod here that is starting to wear my patience thin but i will not name them, i will take it up with them myself with a PM, its an attitude thing.

Astahost is one of the very best that I've ever signed up with.

Previously I used to be hosted by "anyxhost.com", but suddenly their services stopped due to no mentioned reason !!. I was good but life move on.

Then I had signed up with many (atleast 3-4) hosts giving ad-free hosting. But none of them was even close to "anyxhost.com", it really rocked !!.

I have been approved today only. So I can't say much about their hosting, but one thing for sure, this site is pretty straight-forward : post replies or new topics to stay active, and stay active to get quality free hosting. No small print, no bullshit, no crap. It's the approach I like the best.

I looked at the CPanel. It was pretty impressive, had many more icons (yeah, many more icons and not many more controls) than the one at "anyxhost.com".

The Fantasico and Cpanel in here is VERY impressive. So much better than any other host I've tried. Also the admin seems very friendly and this is a very good forum with lots of computer knowledge and tutorials in it.

the server is always UP.... good speed too.. and the cpanel rocks.. [a lot of options for webstats ].. i love the cpanel...

I think astahost is the best free webhost currently in existence. it has a good looking and fully featured cPanel. It also has a generous 150MB disk space which is plenty for a website. 5GB bandwidth is a lot, but I don't know how quickly that is used up. However, I am sure that if someone was running out of bandwidth and there were lots of people in the same position, then astahost would create another, higher BW package. There are very friendly staff here and I have no complaints. Thankyou Astahost!
