Yersh, those are incredibly annoying. i find that even when searching the most innocent of things I get tons of popups, that's why I use the google toolbar. Slow as hell but so damn uber.

haha wow I didnt think rotten would already be on the list. Least now I know theres another individual out there as strange as I am. Some others would be:
www.vomit.com where you can watch well disturbing videos. www.ratemyvomit.com where you can rate pics of people vomitting(what has this world come to?) www.bored.com and funnyjunk.com are beyond describable. You really do have to be bored to feel as though you aren't loosing brain cells when on those websites. www.vommit.com is in my opinion a poor choice of a domain name for a company but some company actually has that as their domain. |

Well, lots of domains are wastes these days. I think the worst I've seen is those parker domains. For instance, if you have something like 'google.com' and the web surfer misspells google.com as www.goooogle.com they'll get a parked domain filled with ads. Whoever registered that domain is basically just trying to take advantage of people <- snipped -> and gaining money. That, IMO, is pathetic. Granted, I never click on any ads, but it's still rather irksome. (Not to mention stupid)

How 'bout just use Firefox? Or Opera, for that matter? And if you can't deal with ads, use Adblock (Firefox) or the (ahem) Content Blocker in Opera. It seems as though for every widely filed complaint, there's a solution out there, you just have to find it. :-)

I can't think of anything off hand right now, but that site discussed in another thread (the smallest web site in the world or some such), is certainly annoying with it's size lol.
