Does anyone know if OpenGL support is or isn't in the current betas of Vista? I haven't had a chance to test it with my beta. Actually, that's not exactly true, haven't made the chance.

If you have any games that use OpenGL or have it as an option, give that a try, not sure how much runs on Vista from older OS's.
Umm try googling for some simple OpenGL games or examples and see if they work, then you'll know for sure. |

Simple which means people would have to sto using Mac and Linux OS and run vista on their computers in order to play their favorite games.
Of course the gaming industry can sue M$ on that little detail, However since this topic is a year old are they any updates to this post. Found somewhat updates links related to this and it looks like vista will be supporting OpenGL. http://digg.com/tech_news/Microsoft_finall...s_Vista_support http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/to...topic_id=380046 |
