YAAAAAY!!! I finally got my PC up and running! I'm using it right now as I speak. Thank you thread contributors for helping me out. I couldn't have done it without you guys. ...Well it turned out there was something wrong with either the CPU fan installation or the power cables I inserted into the drives. Anyway, it works real fine! This is my first actually Game-capable PC I've ever bought. *sighs*

I'm betting on a power issue here...if there's power to the board, and the board works right, it will tell you what's wrong via a POST code in the form of a sequence of beeps from the PC speaker or a piezo on the board.
I would check the power supply (via a voltmeter or a psu tester, use your imagination here, macguyver ^^). Then I'd make sure the reset and pwr switch wires are connected to the motherboard properly. If you still don't get a POST code, check the PC speaker connection to the board. If there's still nothing, you have a dead motherboard. |

I'm currently running Windows 2000 on it because I dont have a Windows XP CD (can't afford one yet). The PC works fine. But there's one more thing I need help on: Windows 2000 does not have any DVD decoder softwares that comes with it. Does anybody know any DVD decoder that is compatible with Win2K out there? I'd really appreciate it. Thank you again for the help.
