I seen this before when I still used MSN Messenger's official client, as others have said, it's just 3 emoticons, though I can't be fooled by these anymore, because on linux I use Pidgin, and on Windows I use Trillian, both of which can't interpret standard MSN Messenger Emoticons.

Yordan, I don't think you mean exactly every windows you open, or?
I found 2 sites that seem to be relating to this. The first one is probably the German site you've mentioned, at http://www.wer-weiss-was.de/theme211/article3233136.html. The second one is also in a foreign language, but it's not one that Google or Babelfish could translate. Anyway, the site is http://www.spelforum.nu/forum/index.asp?ac...551&forum=3. I don't know how this can help you, but maybe some of the Astahost members who understand the language might notice this topic and help out? But I wonder why this English-speaking virus has only been noted by people in other countries. I'm a bit confused about your situation here: Did you hear it from your friend, or did you encounter this virus yourself? And are you talking about MSN Messenger? What did you mean by "new window" (what kind of window)? Maybe your friend (or you) downloaded a fake copy of MSN Messenger from a virus site. Tell your friend (or yourself szupie.. that "foreign" language is Swedish, and I am from Sweden The thing that he is saying is that he has 43 users on his contact list. 3 of them is sending this virus thing. (thats what he says in the beginning). So I think that yordan didn't mean that this happens every time when he open a new window, or? Because later, that user says (translated to English, again) QUOTE "Person X says: Virus - (1513 kb)". exactly the same thing as yordan. So I guess that everyone was right. This is just a stupid emotion. I just realized that this thread is old This post has been edited by Feelay: May 25 2008, 05:20 PM |

QUOTE I just realized that this thread is old that's right. The subject is really funny, I was really afraid when I first saw this thing. But, yes, this subject is also rather old. That's why I close this topic. Yordan |
