Looking at both kspy and nod32 I can say without reserve that on windows
Server 2003 NOD32 is far faster at scanning files than the current release
Of KSPY.

When I loaded kspy on my server I found it to be somewhat of a resource hog. In contrast NOD32 worked similar to CA in that it is light weight on resources.

The detection rates on both KSPY and nod32 are very good,in essence they
Do what they were designed to do "detect virus and mailware"

Getting back To the resource issue If you manage to get some trojan downloader on your
PC or mailware you will notice a slowdown in most cases of your OS.

If you have a AV solution installed thats resource intensive and it does
Not have a signature for the Virus you have both the combination of the
AV and the virus will be a huge tax on your system. Just something to
Consider when choosing a AV solution.

For me Kaspersky Internet Security is better than NOD32. I've been using this anti-virus with internet security for months now. It really protects your PC in real time plus it blocks ads in consortium with Anti-Spy feature on Kaspersky Internet Security, wherein it leads to slow down you connection due to ads that is a heavy one wherein it's not important anyway.

When it comes to memory consumption, kaspersky only uses a bit of the total memory. it doesnt used up a lot of system resources depending on the features that has been enabled.

You maybe annoyed by its pop up confirmation but you may select default option to choose from, from its setting, but yet maximum security measures has been identified and implemented by Kaspersky.

which one is better? or other program use to kill virus please advice me.
thanks you..

I would highly recommend NOD32. Though I haven't tried Karpersky, but nod32 suits all my needs, its efficient, fast, reliable, and updates its virus definitions daily. Couldn't be more happy!

Of couse, you have to be careful of what you do on the internet. I haven't had a virus problem for like 3 years, that's mostly because of my internet experience, but you have to keep an eye out for suspicious links like those on msn messenger to "check some photos", I don't fall for that but I think my NOD32 would keep me safe anyway.

There was a time a windows suddenly popped up (some casino stuff) and nod32 detected something and stopped it right there.. it asks you what to do, or if you prefer you can let nod32 take care of it and delete corrupted files w/o prompts, etc.

Replying to Tacho

Ok wow bud

Have you even used kaspersky

Tacho

Ok I'll show the comparison

1.Kaspersky hogs around 8-12k of resources.

NOD32 hogs around 20-23k of resources

2.Kaspersky has THE MOST virus definitions of any AV out there

3.On a scale of 1-10 ease of use kaspersky rates 8.5 while NOD32 rates a 8

4.If your good with kaspersky like me you can actually find where the virus comes from since it tracks IP of where worm/virus/trojan comes from

5.It deletion and disinfection uses INCINERATOR technology ( software specialized for deleting files and have the option of making the file unrecoverable)

So I think kaspersky is a lot better

And really read some other forums

Anyone who is ACTUALLY good with computers prefer kaspersky

For its ability to be customized for your own use

NOD32 does not have the type of option for you

Where you can only use the default option it gives you so a lot of times its not as good

Kaspersky is able to define and remove many new viruses, which are not visible for other antiviruses.
But Kaspersky is a slowest and resource consuming antivirus. I was not happy with it!

NOD32 vs. Kaspersky: Which Is Better?

I too feel that Kaspersky is the Best. But I installed NOD.32 because I want to get rid of Kaspersky blacklisted key notification. Can any one provide any help. Its not illegal to use cracked software in my country.

Thanks

well now...
NOD32 vs. Kaspersky: Which Is Better?

This is simple...

One thing everyone should realize is this whole argument changes through the year. Because every quarter one company does better than another. However, over the best 5 years (see link below)

Nod32 has been the most consistent of all the av's. Consistency is key in the antivirus business. That is why I go with NOD32. If another company Norton, for instance, since its 2008 software has cut resource allocation and has made there software half way appealing again. If you look at sunbelt change the only place there lagging is in (response time), which is a pretty big area. However, they will have to consistenly hold their ground for atleaste a year before I would consider switching to them. If notron raises their C in response to a B minimum and hold
