But of course if you all heard the latest news about the patch M$ came out it pretty much makes sure you have a legal version of windows on it.

click here on the topic that was made about that patch.

http://www.trap17.com/forums/microsoft-war...-os-t36078.html

but the general feeling Im hereing not to many people are going to move to this system any time soon.

things take time. You'll see some "changes" around soon.

Either people actually pay $135 CAD for M$ Windows XP, ignore the branding or just jump to another OS.

*groan* so my computer with 2 gigs of RAM with a 256 MB graphics card isn't going to be enough? Ahh well. I will just wait three years, enjoy my time playing BF2. Once three years (longer, hopefully...) passes up I will have a laptop for college and I won't have money or time to play very many high end games.

Hey guys, I have a top of the line computer but how do I know what I need to be able to run Vista 64-bit only.

I have vista 32-bit and right now its showing 3gigs of ram instead of 4gigs which is what I have..Apparently vista 64-bit shows all the ram and is better than 32-bit..

I have a pentium duo core 2.14g, 4gigs of ram, nvidia 8800 GTS vid card (which is like top of the line).

Please someone help me out with this! I'm gettin' so pissed off cause I bought all that ram and its not even showing! (its DDR2 btw)

Motherboard is Asus P5B.

Thank you for your time!
Please help!

-----------------

REPLY BY ADMIN: Yes, I had the same issue as well. I installed 4 GB RAM originally and then I removed 2 RAM sticks and have 2.5 GB. It did not show more than 2 GB no matter how much RAM I installed in.
