I have seen lots and lots of advertising for Online Dating Sites on lots of website like Astahost with ads like:
 I was wondering how many people use these online dating sites? Personally I don't think that they are good to use and I would never use them.... |

wait..that would include me..  really i dont know anyone who uses online dating sites... okay..now i know of one |

Well I've never used an Internet dating service. I don't think there's anything wrong with the basic idea: people are busy and not all want to hang out at typical places to meet new people... BUT sites with ads like that just look very suspicious. And its a huge understatement to say that the ad you posted is misleading.

There are some sites where people from my country can look for a friend, sex partner or somebody else. Once I was surfing such site and saw nice girl. I decided to write her some words, but I wasn't registered. So I did everything as needed and wrote her a message. But she didn't answer lol
 From that time I don't use such dating sites anymore. It takes much time and online dating is kind of "blind", becouse at the other side of screen could be not a gir, but 50+ woman, playing with young people But maybe some day I'll try this once more... |

All these things just look like huge scams to me. As a woman, I've had my share of being hit on online, and the thought of voluntarily putting myself in that position.... *shudders*

I never used that kind of sites, because I'm pretty young, 13 year, because I already have a girlfriend and because people aren't always who they say they are. I don't think I will ever use them. Maybe when I'm getting a stone on my head and I'm getting mad
 , but personaly I don't think that will ever happen.

I can't imagine using one...I mean I know some people who met online (through friends or randomly, not these services) that are dating for real now and really love each other. That having been said I don't think this method of meeting people online would work as well...since both parties would know what was at stake it'd be very tempting for lies to be fed to each other...
If you use them and have had good experiences, great, just not my style...I'll stick to the bars lol |

Some things should be left to real life... its sad when people wont even get up and go out ... wheres the fun at meeting new people when your just instant messaging them. PEOPLE ARE LAZY!

I've tried to use one to find people who live in my area... But none of these online classified services are any good. They all charge to leave emails...

I don't and will NEVER use an online dating service and can't understand why anyone would. First off, you have NO CLUE who could be at the other end... some 60+ woman pretending to be a hot 21 year old?
Anyway, I would never use one of these services because there is no proof who that person says they are. How hard is it to find pictures of people on Google? Not very. No matter how many pictures they post, I do not know if that's them or not. Such as I could Google up some pictures of a hot 21 year old and pretend that I am a 21 year old female. Of course I'd NEVER do anything gross like that, but there are some people who do. So if you're going to use an online dating service, use severe caution and don't give out too much personal information! [N]F |
