Greetings, Im really new to hosting but have some htlm exp. I just started hosting, and when I open my Ftp page it asks for a log in , and when I do it pops up again, the bottom switches from annoymous to my name,when I open it a box pops up saying windows cannot access this folder, make sure you have permission, and a colum of the #220 with info, but the last one 421 unable to set up secure annymous ftp . I created a network place. So I dont know if im logged in. I cant create a folder though. It opens the cannot login box, then an error, cant create folder. and www.mydomain doesnt work, prob cause theres noting on it.

You are not a [HOSTED] member, so that's maybe why. Or do you are hosted on another hosting company in that case contact the admins of that company.

you're not in the [hosted] group so I don't know fi you can login yet. You need a new set of credidentials if you want hosting here.

Do you want to get hosted with Astahost? (This forum thing) Or do you want to get hosted with someone else?

If Astahost:

You need a hosting account, see the documentation around astahost (try astahost front page (http://astahost.com).

If other hosting provider:

Look on their contact page if they have one. Get in contact with the most appropriate person listed there. If there is no contact page, then I don't know what you should do.

As everyone has already said, you're not hosted with AstaHost. Be active in the forums, and you can apply for free hosting

If this is another host you are talking about, have you canged your nameservers on your domain? That can be quite a common problem, remember that it takes 24 hours to do.
