In this release, WLM has a new User Inface design.
but personly, I think the new UI design is ugly.. sad.gif
The contact list was redesigned as well (no more hover behavior)

Is this an upgrade of the old Windows Messenger? I'm kinda confused. If so, well, it sure has alot of catching up to do before it beats MSN Messenger.

Finally, after so many many years, MSN has introduced offline messaging - thank God for that! It's so much easier to leave a short message for a perosn on your contact list, rather than having to open up an application (be it IE or OE) to send an email.
