Recently Windows Live Hotmail started to have some problems.
First problem is that when I want to reply or forward a mail, it doesn't include the mail (the box in wich I have to compose my mail is empty). Now the real problem is that sometimes it does include the old mail (the one on wich I want to reply) when I press "send" and sometimes it doesn't.

Am I the only one having these problems ?

[After clicking the send button hotmail gave me this page, my whole text was gone]

ps. I do use Opera and haven't had this problem before.

Try using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer to access it and see if you have this problem. Then determine if it is the classic version that is problematic or that it is Opera. Do you remember updating/changing any settings in Opera? I haven't had this problem before, but if text boxes don't send correctly (e.g. forum posts), then browsers usually erase the contents.

I don't seem to be having these problems, my 'reply' mail appears like normal in the compose text. Try clearing the cache before loading live mail.

Odd, I'll admit. I've had a few similar(-ish) problems, but only because I probably left the browser page open too long and caused the session to time out before I'd sent the message, so I suppose Windows Live didn't really appreciate that. rolleyes.gif

EDIT: Just realised that I've reached 100 posts. Cheers, AstaHost. biggrin.gif

I get simalar problems with Opera. Best bet is to press the back button and see if the text is still there. For replys just copy and past. Whenever I post or send large texts over the websites, I copy and past it into Notepad also (it loads faster then word). I would like to know why Opera does this. I think it has to do with redirect or a website error. Now copy and pasting is very anoying, you might want to see if your site prefrences allow redirecting and check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking you from sending emails. It also appears that you have an error message at the top (in yellow) I don't know what that is in this case but sometimes I get that when I my browser doesnt support a code (mostly active X controls) but sometimes it is just a message from the website. If you still can't get it to work. Try using anouther browser (just to see if it you or the website). It may be the PHP used on the site is not working or just that the page is not loaded compleatly.
Sorry I couldn't help more.

I usually don't have any problems opening Hotmail on Opera, but then again, I'm not an avid user of Hotmail. It does load a bit weird on Opera sometimes, so just use Internet Explorer (as much as you'd prefer Opera) to use Hotmail. Hopefully, they'll fix whatever this is soon enough.

I try using Windows Live as least as possible, it is way too slow and has too many problems/bugs. I like using Gmail, fast, free, tons of space, and easy to use! I just use Windows Live for old thingsI subscribed for and for facebook and emailing friends who arent online MSN.
