There are many template that you can adapt to Mambo, in fact almost any that you find. There are also several designed especially for Mambo or Joomla which is an off-shoot of Mambo.
You may find a free one that you like at one of these sites if you haven't already found one. http://www.mamboteam.com/ http://www.joomlaresource.com/ www.mambotemplates.com/ www.mambohut.com Many of the better templates however are not free. I like several of the Mambo templates featured here: http://www.deonixdesign.com/ Unfortunately, I don't quite understand your other question. What is it exactly that you are wanting to do? Oops, I didn't see that this was an old post. Sorry. This post has been edited by carny gal: Apr 4 2006, 01:41 PM |

Well since this post has been revived, I guess I'll add a resource.
Mambo Hut has a large selection of templates availible and has multiple ways to preview the templates. Keep in mind the most Mambo / Joomla templates can be used without any problems on any version of both Mambo and Joomla. This is due to the fact that Mambo / Joomla templates are mostly HTML and very basic PHP. Since templates for Mambo and Joomla are so simple in nature, I recommend that anyone with a little PHP knowledge and HTML knowledge attempt to create their own template. The hardest part is getting all of the CSS file together and graphics work designed. Here is my custom template in progress: VW One. What do you think? Hope this helps future readers. vujsa |
