Well Action Script can be a pain in the ass sometimes, especially if you have no clue about programming, or other languages.
This tutorial will let you learn the speceific action script code you need for certain effects on your animations, without having to learn it all, but instead part by part depending on your needs. http://www.actionscripts.org/tutorials.shtml You can even save yourself the reading time and download examples instead!!
