like the problem on desktop, there is a similar problem in embdedded and palm devices that platforms are so many and to get a software work on all platforms need considerable work.

Recently our client suggested to port thier product on BREW. It was easy to program and test but he says that it is very difficult to get it published. Can any body tell how flexible is this and on how many phones can this be supported. I never heard of this platform before.

It stands for Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless and is from Qualcomm.
