Hey, i found a ipod mini in the street biggrin.gif . It got run over by a semi sad.gif dry.gif (one of the really big trucks), but was still mostly intact. I found that when i took it apart, it uses a standard compact flash card (HD), and then uses a little ribbon cable to connect it to the main circut board. Take off the ribbon cable/adapter, and you can use it in a digital camera, PDA, or just as a little bit of extra space on your computer. The HD is a modified (by apple) Hitachi Microdrive, 4GB or 6GB. the only difference i found between the retail version of the microdrive and the ipod's is that the ipods is a bit slower, and alot thinner, because it has no metal casing. hope you enjoy it biggrin.gif

Free storage space - especially something of that capacity - is pretty sweet. And to think that my mother used to yell at me when, as a little child, I picked up all the interesting things that I saw when we were out and about.

But I never found anything that cool. *grins*
