I was wondering if I could install php applications on the Cpanel?

How do you mean PHP applications? Do you mean like the preinstalled phpBB, iPei guestbook etc.? If you want to install those, you go to something like "Preinstalled Scripts".

This is the second hosting service I have with cpanel. we use it at work as well. Experience has shown me that it is best to ftp programs. Why, I do not know. On more than one occasion I have lost lines of script uploading through cpanel.

If anyone has an answer for that I'd like to know. unsure.gif
