How do I backup my site with cpanel?

Which site are you trying to backup ? If it is your page on astahost, I'm sure you noticed what it says when you try from cPanel -

Cpanel?? I think via FTP is more easy. Just download all the files on your site!

I agree. With a ftp client like FileZilla, if your site is only made of html or php files, simply backup the main folder of your site.
However, if your website uses a database, you must also perform a database backup of your database data, and download this backup to your local PC.

also you could use transloader.com if you dont want to use Cpanel.. Transfer files from one server to another
