i get a fresh Login... weird
also does anyone know where does Linux Mint 11 (probably similar to Ubuntu's) store logs for events like these?

If you have been logged out from an inactive command-line session, you should have a look at your timeout settings.
Just type the following :
CODE
set | grep -i outand look at the values this displays for the TMOUT or TIMEOUT shell variable.

I use it with su command .
its based on ubuntu i think so i tried my best but failed.

these logouts happens randomly... it hasn't happened since two days ago, but i'm just curious to know if someone has come across this

I was burning a Linux disc and checking the Updates and all of a sudden I was at the Log In screen. This is 2 times today! Using Linux Mint 11 with Gnome (Ubuntu based)
