Hi everybody,
This post might go against the rules of this forum - coz I figure this is a hosting request only forum - but what more an appropriate place than this to compliment the folks@astahost. I got my hosting started package today along with the login to cPanel. Maaaan !!... That's all I can say - the rest (my present state) is depicted in this picture
Good WORK folks.. No GREAT Work !! Nothing can beat the mindboggling list of features..
P.S. Admins kindly move this post to some suitable forum if it's not meant 2 be here...

I agree with you. I enjoy the community here and I appreciate the hosting and all the quality tools that we have in cpanel. I was so impressed with the opportunity here and the community we have that I "asked" to be a mod. I was not invited I invited myself
The quality of posts are increasing on a daily basis and it looks like the forum are attracting professionals and people with a lot of knowledge to share. You are one of the people with quality posts that I enjoy to read. As a lot of the other posters here have good quality posts (to many to mention, just so I don't miss anyone).
The spam is way down and it makes for good reading.

Hi,
I came back to add some more. When I first visited astahost - like other, I was just searching for just "another free host". I admit, I was pretty quick to fill up my quota of 10 messages to get my starter package rolling as I needed a host desperately. But after spending a couple of days browsing the forums and tyring to respond to the posts - I've found myself getting drawn more and more into it. What makes it even more fun & worthwhile is the immense appreciation shown by the community and the social banter that everyone indulges in. Definitely pumps you up with a warm glow
Once again, the features provided by astahost are by far unmatched. Keep up the great work.

You guys and gals out there are amazing. This is such a great system. Bravo on the great site and thanks for the domain. It makes me feel all fuzzy to know that there are cool people like you out there helping people like us get up and running. Notonly is the domain service great, but you are running an excelent forum here. Its really nice and very comunity oriented. Everyone seems to get along really well!

Thanks for the vote of confidence.. We are trying to improve more and more. We have two sites, Trap17 and Astahost.
While trap17 was our first site, but we were quite un-satisfied with what we really wanted to achieve. The problem was we were not aiming towards community, but our aim was money. Losing Google ads was a big blow. They have been suspending us now and then.. This time, we wanted to make it for something else. With all the experience, we moved ahead to bring this site. Everything was planned, even though things were hard in the begenning, we are finally proud to say that our dream has come true. Like we mentioned on main page, the aim of this site is not to make money, but to build a successful forum. And we are ready to do anything for this. So far as money is concerned, Trap17 is enough for that. Things are diffrent at this site. We can afford to lose 1000 members but cannot afford to lose 1 talented member. This site makes it a challenge. And most of the people at this site are the ones who accepted it. The signed up even after seeing the Warning message on our main forum page. That makes it a diffrence.
Astahost is a place where any developer, designer or computer professional can start building his web career while making his site. We provide the tools and ask you to contribute. The little we recieve from all of you is enough to help most of the young developers. But it is afterall the sincere dedication that the members put which makes this site successful. We feel we have reached our goal, when a member stops thinking about hosting credits when he posts.
For the first time, we have seen members posting for knowledge and not for Hosting Credits. Some members have credits more than 30 days but are active daily. Astahost would never be possible without the sincere contribution and help from its members.
We hope someday, we will be able to help and provide answers to all the people who come to this place. The best of all, its free. Unlike Google Answers, we dont charge people for our replies. We believe, Best things in life are ment to be free. The more you share, the more you get. Besides, you gain knowledge by spreading it. Isin't it ?

First time I logged in today to my hosting account my jaw just dropped at all the features available. I thought it would be good here, but this is so far and beyond anything I've expected or seen in my previous experiences with countless free hosts. Thanks for the awesome service!

No one has yet complimented astahost for the great UPTIME... I think I'm going to do just that. Did you know that in Bengali ( my mother-tongue and one of the east indian languages ) the word "Asta" means "Trust" !! In just a short few days, AstaHost has become my most Trusted Host

That big post that OpaQue posted was really touching and I think that it should be on the homepage of the site or something. I mean, I would come and post for the sake of it just because of the message! And I'll try to be the first person with 70 credits on trap17 and Asta (trusted) host (already 70 on trap17, still 67 to go on astahost...)

Great work, I must say. A little while ago I ran out hosting credits and my site was temporarily blocked. So I posted some posts, got some credits, and within the hour my site was back up! I'm awed at the wonderful job done here at Astahost and how nice the forums, hosting, and post credits work and are setup. Good job and keep up the good work Astahost.

I wasn't actually planning to move my site until maybe after April, but I was interested in this site so I just popped over to take a look. Two days later I've already fulfilled my 10 hosting credits and my initial fear that I would have nothing to contribute to the site has almost dissipated. I love the atmosphere in this message board, the lack of spam really helps, and I've picked so many tips already!
Only problem I forsee here is that I'm going to spend TOO much time here! *haha* And neglect school work or something... >_<

I have had a window open to thsi board for 7 hours... this place moves suprisingly slow and very little threads where I can add anythign significant or satisfactory >_<;;
